http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWIHMPd6Oro&playnext_from=PL&feature=PlayList&p=8065BB77DA9BAC98&playnext=1&index=69

為何這位總統總是如此口齒不靈,受過心理學訓練的著名傳媒人Gail Sheehy,曾在《Vanity Fair》撰寫醫學報告剖析過, 說布殊有「閱讀障礙症」(Dyslexia) , 布殊旋即回應: 「Thewoman who knew that I had dyslexia......

I never interviewed her.」

I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe...... I believe what I believe is right. (2001.7.2)

That's a chapter, the last chapter of the20th, 20th, 21st century that most of us would rather forget. The last chapter ofthe 20th century. This is the first chapter of the 21st century. (2000.10.24)

Redefining the role of the United States from enablers to keep the peace to enablers to keep the peace from peacekeepers is going to be an assignment. (2001.1.14)

But I hope the ambitious realize that they are more likely to succeed with success as opposed to failure. (2001.1.18 )

My administration has been calling upon all the leaders in the...... in theMiddle East to do everything they can to stop the violence, to tell the different parties involved that peace will never happen again. ) (2001.8.13)

And there's no doubt in my mind, not one doubt in my mind, that we will fail.

I think if you know what you believe, it makes a lot easier to answer questions.

Ican't answer your question. (2000.10.4)

For a century and a half now, America and Japan have formed one of the great and enduring alliances of modern time.

It's very important for folks to understand that when there's more trade, there's more commerce. (trade 本身就是commerce) (2001.4.10)It is clear our nation is reliant uponforeign oil. More and more of our imports come from overseas. (imports 就一定是come from overseas 啦!) (2000.9.25)

We are concerned about AIDS inside our White House. (他的意思是白宮內正受AIDS 困擾?)(2001.2.7)They have miscalculated me as a leader. (miscalculated?)(2000.9.13)

There's a huge trust. I see it all the time when people come up to me and say, "I don't want you to let me down again"(即是說自己已經令人失望過很多次? ) (2000.10.3)

One of the great things about books is sometimes there are some fantastic pictures.

It's clearly a budget. It's got a lot of numbers in it. (2000.5.5)

I don't read what's handed to me. (2000.3.15)

As governor of Texas, I have set high standards for our public schools, and I have met those standards.

#想讀到更多布殊這類稀奇古怪的「金句」,可翻看Jacob Weisberg 所編撰的《George W. Bushisms : The SlateBook of The Accidental Wit and Wisdomof our 43rd President》;以及隨後「食過翻尋味」,不斷再加推,最後共出了6 本的這個「金句」系列。
